| I would not use a PC as a mixer, especially if you are mixing cameras and in a live environment. PC's always throw in lag/delay in the mix, even the good ones (VideoToaster). Here are a couple of questions you could answer to give the forums more to go on: 1. Is it live of to tape? 2. What are you hoping to accomplish with the switch? 3. Are you mixing cameras, DVD/VHS and a computer signal? 4. Are you expecting to record the feed and burn them to DVD or for the web? Give us some more info and we can all definately help out! |

| thanks... Well I thank you for your time ppl... I studied a video mixing thing and came to conclusion PC is not suitable for this (live mixing of analog sources for IMAG). So I will post a new forum thread so you'd help me find a good one (swithcer/mixer). Thanks ppl. |
