Powerpoint and Motion Video

I have looked but could find nothing definitive about using motion backgrounds in powerpoint presentations.

First, I know you can't do it right out of the box.

But one website says it can be done with plugins for PPT. Then it fails to tell you what the plugins are and from where you can download/buy them.

Is there anyway to integrate a video motion background behind text in PPT?

Thanks.

Bob

This will do it. I've used it, but haven't been thrilled with it. I think a lot depends on your system and how complex the slide is:

Tim, thanks!

Not sure what I am looking at: a plugin that allows me to add video clips/loops or clips and loops that plug-in (ie: got to pay for each one.)

Can you help with a little explanation of your experience.

You're actually looking at both -- the plug-in and the clips. You can use any clips that are in the right format, so you don't have to buy theirs.

I'm always trying to push PPT beyond what it's actually supposed to do. When I combine a lot of PNG graphics with transparency on top of the moving videos with the Crystal Graphics plug-in.... it starts to choke. I think if your slides were fairly simple without a lot of animations or heavy graphics, this plug-in would be fine. I think you can download a demo version to try it out.
