Dead Mac = no worship software HELP My Mac died and with it wen my OOLLDD stalwart - SundayPlus. Bought a version before the last one they marketed for Mac. Oh dear I have had my head in the sand on this topic for awhile now. I know of some of the current stuff but only either a tiny bit or just a title. I have looked up some of the Mac software threads but seem to be getting a bunch of "yesterdays" news. Anybody got the skinny on where to look for something that might be actually current? In the past I briefly looked at Live Worship and ProPresenter but decided to stick with my old and limiting faithful, SundayPlus. Don't have that option now, and I am curious if there is anything else to look at without having to bounce between OS's. Not against the other OS just would prefer to stick with just one OS, at least for the time being. Funny thing, our projector died 2 days before my computer. New tools for work, new computer for work, new projector for church. It's like a Christmas shopping spree!

Pro Presenter is defiantly a winner; would be the most powerful, in terms of what it can do visually in my opinion; its my personal favorite to use, because of the huge array of tools to something that looks awesome! http://www.renewedvision.com/pro4.php There is opensong, which is free; don't know if its any good or not, but it won't cost you anything, which is a big plus for some http://www.opensong.org Easyworship, which is my favorite for volunteers with not much computing skill; they are releasing a mac version next year, but that doesn't help you in the immediate future. If you need ease of use, maybe go with open song until easy worship for the mac comes out. http://www.easyworship.com/

Yes, for some time (over 2yrs AFAIK) We just started doing digital projection this year I spent a week comparing it and Powerpoint in January No contest there as far as song and set creation go (Unrelated, but oddly enough Office:Mac has better license terms than the Windows edition ??) It has been solid on our base model white MacBook (with 4GB RAM) I like the Cross platform part as one of our worship teams is on Windows, I run both, (mostly 10.5) the pastor is a Mac guy and the other tech guy is on Windows the only caveat to this is having to bring an (XML) Set file and drop it in a specified folder (same for new songs not yet on the projection machine) Please, no all caps or I'll have to get pedantic on you about MAC vs Mac ![]() Edit: would love to do the ProPresenter thing but we are <50 members and there are other budget priorities, (30Yr old building has needed some work starting the last couple years) not to mention the cross platform bit that OpenSong Provides
