| Choosing an software We been reading this forum to choose an software that might fit for our Deaf Church. Basically we want a software that can handle our Pastor's powerpoint or if some days our Pastor felt moved to give different sermon than the one he perpared for on powerpoint at the last minute that he could type out his sermon in something like Windows Notepad and send it to us and have the software "pretty it up" for him on screen with background and fonts. Also we would like something that allow us to display bible verses on the fly during sermon if Pastor came up with scripture he wanted to share. I know lots of Church Pastors rather have everyone read it from their bible but us Deaf folks need to be watching our Pastor signing so we would need the scriptures to appear on screen behind him. Song lyric is a bonus to have if it allow us to maually slide the songs lyric rather than playing from it because we will be using karafun player to play songs from it. Some of you probably saw in my other post as to why we are using karafun. A remote desktop feature will be nice where the Pastor can remotely access the presentation view from the software with his laptop at the front but We think we can just add a VNC on both worship computer and his laptop. Pastor just wanted to be able to see what is on screen behind him without having to turn around to look or maybe type in some scripture himself to bring it up on screen rather than having someone in the Media room to do it for him. We are leaning toward to Easy Worship but we're not sure if it will do the notepad on the fly presentation or sermon. We're looking at Mediashout as well too. But we do want something that have a site licence since there more than 1 computers in Church where everyone prepare their stuffs on. Any inputs will be welcome or if you know the pro on other software than mentioned in here we will welcome to hear your inputs on those too! Thank you! God bless! Brother Bill |

| Another one to look at is SongShow Plus. It has a Text Wizard with it's Slide Show Builder that may do what you want with last minute sermon notes. When you purchase an SSP projection license, you can install a workstation license on as many PCs as you want to prepare media. All three (SSP, EW and MS) have free trials. The best plan is to try them and see which fits your needs best.
