Recommend Software please

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend!

I design and format presentations for the screens at my church. I currenly use Powerpoint to run....Paintshop to create my images and backgrounds.

We need to update. Badly.
I need software that can run like powerpoint (slide to slide and can print out preview list). We typically use anywhere from 100-200 slides each weekend. That includes music ministry, message notes, scriptures, and etc. (We have a large church, 5 services on the weekend, thousands of worshippers each service)

I would like to be able to call up scriptures on the spot, still customize my backgrounds. Call up song selections (most of our music is composed by members, so I will need to provide our musical database).
We use 2 monitors, so I need a good preview mode, as well as have backups printed out...

My pastor has lots of message points as well as scriptures....I still need for points to be able to "Fly in" on the spot (great powerpoint feature).
Basically, I dont want to let Powerpoint go, but we need to be able to do more. Would be nice to have a feature to play clips as well....

Check out the toolbox on this site, and order the Worship Software Demo CD. It has fully functional demos of various worhship software. At our church, we use Easyworship, which allows you to play powerpoint presentations seamlessly within the program, plus gives you the ability to call up scripture on the fly, call up song slides, play video backgrounds. I have been pleased with the software. I can't say it is the best out there, because I haven't used all the others. However, it meets our needs, and is a good choice for a software-based product. Welcome to the world of worship software. I personally use EasyWorship. However, you will get a variety opinions on what software each person uses and which one each person thinks is best. Like it has been said in threads in the past, you should do your own evaluation of each one comparing features and decide for yourself.
