Driver Search and Repair services?

Greetings,

In preparation for Windows 7 I ran the upgrade advisor and it told me to get new drivers for my wireless lan among other things. In my search to find said drivers for Windows 7 I have come across several sites that will download a piece of software, scan your system and recommend all kind of driver updates.

I am very leary of these types of offerings and want to know if anyone has used them and are they all necessary?

Thanks,
Pete

I've tried DriverMax before and it wasn't too bad. Overly complex...yes. Helpful? I guess. The best source of drivers that I've found is from the computer manufacturer's website -- e.g. http://support.dell.com.
