Uninstalling Office 2007 Professional

My mom is in a pinch right now. She's saved all her windows keys on a document (all are legit) but cannot find her disc for Office 2007. The notebook that she installed Office on is giving her fits and the best way to remedy is to do a complete uninstall/fresh install. If I download the trial version of Office 2007 Professional, don't enter in the trial key they provide and enter in the key she has for her copy will that work? I'm going off of previous software knowledge and "in-theory-it-should-work" in my own mind but want to know if anyone else has tried this.

I myself have an Office 2007 Professional Plus disc that I bought from my school. When my mom goes to Control Panel and Uninstall to look at the list of programs, the comp says Office 2007 Professional Plus but the packaging she has says nothing about "plus". Are they the same things or is there a difference in Professional and Professional Plus? I've Googled for information for the last coupla days but I'm confused because one site says "no difference", another says "yeah I'm different." The MS site is no help and I already uninstalled the "Home and Student trial" that came bloated with the comp. "Professional" has 6 programs while "Plus" has 8.

I wish we could find the disc...

My laptop came with a trial version of O2K7 H&S. I bought a box of O2K7 H&S and only had to enter the license key on my laptop. Worked like a charm.

I'll second what Joel said. I have a friend who bought a netbook. MS said download trial and enter the key code from the box and it worked

Or download Keyfinder http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/ and run it. It will tell you all your software keys on the computer.

Yes, there are difference between the two programs. Just a quick glance on MS's page shows that Plus add Infopath 2007 to the mix. Not sure what else.

On my MS Technet benefit page, it lists both products with separate downloads.
