| In case someone comes along and wants to know if the ISO would have worked by itself no it would not have booted. You needed to use software that would take and ISO and create the bootable DVD. Last edited by riafekim; Monday, May 11th, 2009 at 02:21 PM. Reason: missed a word. |

| Yes. Burning a data cd would put the .iso file onto the disk. This is handy if you want to copy the image to another computer, but not to put the image directly on the disk. |

| Just to keep in mind: The Release Candidate of Windows 7 will expire in June 1 2010. After March 1 2010 your PC will begin shutting down every 2 hours. You cannot upgrade the Release Candidate to a final licensed version of Win7, so you will need to format the PC. |
