This may be just me, but I'm not thrilled with Comic Sans as a font on your front page. If this was your Children's Ministry page, I'd say go crazy, but on your home page it just seems a little out of place.

Another thing: I absolutely love the different headers for each page It shakes things up a little bit!

Only a few things I would like to point out:

1) The header photo has some text overlap that may or may not be intentional. Either way, it kind of distracts. Think about changing text positioning. Especially on the staff page.

2) On the home page, the side menu bar. I would slide the text up so that "Lumberton" is inside the lighter brown section of the scroll background. Actually, you can slide the entire menu up.

3) Are you using a wordpress template on this site? If so, go look at themeforest.net to find another template that has more functions. You can create a cleaner presentation by using a purchased template. If not, look for some sort of site template that can be customized to your liking.

Good job on updating! I love sites that look current!

Need a logo or something to draw the eye towards the name of the church... it kinda disappears.

"Centering" text is never a good idea... and the text is too big... you can clean up the look of this just be removing the center tag and making the body text smaller.

agreed that the menu should move up.

this is not wordpress but I would highly recommend wordpress for you.
