New Website

Hey guys! So I just got my website renovated. I would love you guys to take a look. No gallery yet. And I have not started putting up articles yet (I am going to do articles on basic lighting design, video, technology, etc), but I think this is the overall design I am going for I think.

Very cool. I love the huge backgrounds showing off your work!

One small bug: I wanted to see more of them, but the link to the "gallery" is broken. Otherwise, looking great.

It's missing the link that I click that makes your lighting magically show up at my church.

But seriously, cool looking site! Love the huge backgrounds. Looking forward to seeing more.

The only quirky thing for me is that the menu changes location when you click down in to a category. It also changes style/size, etc. Seems a bit unintuitive.

Just my 2 cents.

That is odd, it only does that for me when I follow a link. And the reason I did that was for style. It just didn't look right with that drop down menu on the subpages. Would it help if I moved the new menu to the left instead of the right?

MUCH better than the old site. I would vote for consistent placement of the site nav menus. Now about that company logo.....

Ooh! I agree with hoosierdraft on the logo. It's just BEGGING to be redone in Cinema 4D. I'm seeing some haze, some spotlights...

Ya, consistent placement would help.

Okay I will try moving the supplementary menu to the left side of the screen.

Okay, so I didn't take the suggestion on the consistent navigation (I got a lot of feedback about the odd long menu on every page), but I installed a new photo gallery, no captions yet (putting them in tomorrow) but what do you think of the new gallery? I am trying to keep scrolling up and down to a minimum.

Tomorrow morning I am also going to change a few of the opening pics to a few that are a little brighter and more indicative of the overall work that we do.

Gallery is nice, but when you have some photos go full screen they are larger than my 23" monitor so I only see the upper left corner of the image.

Interesting shot of the church board meeting in the fourth rotator image.
