- You can get a much nicer looking Facebook Page URL (now that you have more than 25 "likes") by going to facebook.com/username.

- Add more text/links to the "what to expect" page. The video is good, but I'd rather read. What should I wear? What's your nursery like? I'd expect that info (or links to it) to be on that page.

- All of the links to the right of the rotating image on the home page go to "What to expect", when really they should be going to different places depending on what text I click (sermon archives, prayer request, etc).

- Your contact page doesn't link to your Facebook Page (that's a legitimate form of contact for many people), nor your Twitter account (do you have one?). Let people contact you in whatever manner they're most comfortable with.

- No staff page? I might want to contact your youth pastor to talk to them before I bring my kids. Or maybe send a note of encouragement to the minister. I couldn't find ANYTHING.

- No facility page? While I hate when churches show their building on the home page (the church isn't made of bricks; it's made of people), it still needs to be in there somewhere. As a first time visitor, I have the address but have no idea what the building looks like. I'd feel more comfortable knowing at least a bit about what to look for on the road before I come.

Thanks,
Mickey

UHHHH... Does mickmel have any positives to say about the southbay.cc site?? I totally understand that "it would be nice if...." but when Mark0514 asked for our thoughts.... Wouldn't something positive come to mind. Dont get me wrong ... I think your suggestions are great but Im sure mark just spent a good part of his life putting that site together and to just receive a todo list on top of that can be discouraging .... Thats my 2 cents.

Fair point, and I apologize. It's really an excellent site, and was very well done, and I should have said that up front. I was just trying to offer some suggestions to make it even better.

Hey guys, I really appreciate both your responses. No offense taken. In fact, some of the things mentioned reiterate what I have been telling the staff I need from them.

Getting info from the staff is often the most difficult thing.
