Countryside Concept - Redesign

Note this is a conceptual illustration and hasn't been coded yet, however I'd appreciate the input of others.

I've yet to work out a design for the drop down menus however they'll hopefully rely on a CSS only style, or something of the jquery library.

In the tabbed area, if it doesn't appear this way already, it will include a jquery based fade of content creating a more effective use of screen real estate.

Content for the lower containers is negotiable. Also understand the photography is from LifeLight however not our venue.

Another thing this graphic doesn't show, the top most 'large' container will switch out based on the time of day/day of the week to a call to action / live video player element where they can watch live on the homepage, or follow the call to action to get notes, and a chat lobby.

A nearly working code example is available here. I've yet to make some javascript to play nice, as you'll see in white content container, there are mouse over styles however on click jQuery will take over with a nice little fade effect changing the content of that area.
