Online christian store???

Breif backround: I am very new and not so experienced with website coding. I know a bit of HTML, can find / understand some CSS and understand a bit of Java...

With that said, how should I go about making an online christian clothing store using PayPal for transactions?

Joomla with Virtuemart might work for what you need, if you know how to install a CMS.

Find a hosting provider such as...

http://www.webhostingpad.com

cheap and it is a great package.

You get a free domain name with it, and all the unlimited addons.

The kicker is getting the Cpanel with Fantastico De Luxe in it.

You get the quick click installs of Wordpress, Joomla, Mambo, CMS systems, super nice.

You will need to potentially pay more for an SSL certificate, but just get off the ground first, take the baby steps, and then move on.

I'm very new to CMS... This is, honestly, the first time I have ever had to deal with that acronym, but thank God for Google. Now it's time to study CMS apps and how to set them up.

Any other hosts you recommend for simplicity at an affordable rate?

3 year contract is it, or al least that's how it seems... Maybe they're still trying to get their foot in the door of webhosting. No idea...

Just remember, with hosting, you often get what you pay for.

I have had a great experience with http://www.WebHostingPad.com

Their customer service is excellent, they have live chat service and phone service 24/7.

Their Cpanel is outstanding, they have a great site builder built in RV Site builder, Fantastico De Luxe is to die for, comes with quick click installs for message boards, CMS (Joomla, Mambo, PHP, Wordpress) they have Ruby on Rails, Stat tracker, etc.

Unlimited Domain Name hosting, Unlimited Bandwidth, Unlimited Disk Space, and 1 free domain for the life of your time with them.

They are having a great sale right now for 3 years, do it it's worth it.

I am not a reseller, I have my personal business through them and I am setting up web sites for our choir and youth ministries through them due to their excellent service and uptime.

Call or chat with one of their reps and ask all the questions you need before signing up.

One thing I will say is that if you don't look closely it appears that you get a Free SSL certificate with the plan, and you do not, I found out by asking tons of questions before buying. I spent 2 hours on the phone with one of their reps just finding out if they were what I wanted.

If they can't handle you for 2 hours, they don't deserve your business.

They have been great, been with them since January.

Once you get your free domain, buy all additional domains through another less expensive company as they will charge $15, since they get them through enom.

Their Domain Name redirection and parking is a sinch as well.

Have any questions about them let me know.
