PHP help needed - SOS

Ok, I'm wondering if anyone here knows how I could possibly come up with something similar to the karat kalculator that is shown on this page here: Karat Kalculator? Need to come up with something similar to it soon for a friend owns a refining business.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Andi V.

What aspects of it are you needing, the calculations, or the program written?

While that page uses PHP, so the calculations are not visible, I did find a few pages that use javascript, in which you can see the code that calculates. One such example is http://www.jackhunt.com/gold-calc.html , and most values were pretty close to each other.

If you were needing the actual coding behind it, let me know I may be able to help out.

Would not be difficult to do in PHP. Let me know exactly what you need and I'll let you know. PM is fine.

Greg,

Yes, I'd need the actual coding behind it. I'm not as good at php coding and don't have a clue where to start. It seems so complicated.

Thanks for offering to help.

Personally, I would just do it in javascript. It would save the page reload, and the server wouldn't have to do anything.
