Recording High def and projecting analog

I need to get my hands on one of those JVC GY-HD250Us and do a side by side latency comparison between it and the XH-G1. I am curious what its real latency is in ms. I was able to test my setup by going to online-stopwatch.com and running a fullscreen stopwatch (it counts realtime to the 1000 of a second) then having my camera film the laptop screen and output to a tv and then with a digital camera I would take a picture "capturing a moment in time" of both the laptop screen (true time) and the tv screen (delayed time) ... XH-G1 directly to 1080 sony bravia TV gives me 150ms delay... introduce converters and cables and mixer and you get a good 300+ms of delay.
