copyright question for website

We record audio and video each week. Recently we started putting some of the video of music specials the praise band does on our website. We aren't posting any lyrics online and everything is played and recorded live, no tracks. Can we post this to our website? We have a CCLI and log all our music there.

I'm not a lawyer, but I feel confident telling you this:
CCLI does NOT cover this.
Sorry!

No, as Dan said CCLI doesn't cover it, though it does cover a limited number (something like 10% congregation size, I think) of CDs or DVDs (or cassette tapes or VHS carts).

But there are licenses which do cover that. I believe one is called "Worshipcast", though I can't remember who that's with. From what I remember, the license fees are reasonable.

Copyright Solvers offer the WorshipCast license.

Yep, the WORSHIPcast license will definitely help.

Here is a white paper called "Copyright Issues for Webcasting Religious Services". It should help with this and other questions.

guess we are going to have to get some additional licenses.
