This looks like what we're after, Phil. How do you set up your Flash files? Any compression suggestions for 30-minutes of material? Do you think Apple's Compressor would offer sufficient control options? Also have Flash itself - though it's new to me.

I tend to agree that Flash would be the way to go for this one, you are a Mac house and if most people are on high speed then it wont be a problem.

Good Luck with it

Phil,
you said: "I render them out in premiere elements for flash 8 then upload them and embed."

Can you explain how the embedding is done. I'm currently encoding AVI files to FLV's in Sorenson Squeeze, and then uploading to my server and using HTML and XML code that is prewritten by another source. I'm not good at writing code. Can embedding the player eliminate the coding? It's so much simpler for me to use WMV files...much easier to link...but I prefer FLV. Thx.

Hey David
I like the layout on your site for your Sunday Sermons page. It's what I'm trying to do on our church website. I want to stream video, audio, and provide our Pastor's sermon outlines also. Can you expand alittle more on how you did this, or PM me?
Thanks

Just my two cents as far as what I'll typically use for streaming standard def video settings.
- 15 fps
- 400x300 px for 4:3
- 480x270 pc for 16:9
- 350 Kbps for video
- 48 Kbps for audio at 16 bit mono

These are low settings because not everyone has killer cable connections. This takes into consideration the folks on low-end DSL. Hope it helps.

Peace!
Chris
