Ministry Overview Videos for Web/DVD

I'm going to be shooting some videos to showcase our different ministries soon. What I wanted to know is whether it would be more effective to have the minister that leads a particular ministry to talk about his ministry or shoot the video from the perspective of someone that participates in the ministry (students, family, senior adults, etc) and have that person narrate it.

I planned on having the videos lasting around 1 minute to 1:15 each.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

I like the perspective idea, if it's executed well and not cheesy. I think it has the potential to be more interesting, but possibly less informative. What examples of ministries are you thinking of?

Why not have both? It would require more aggressive prep to keep the time limit. But it would, I think, increase the content value. You can always edit for time and cover the cuts with b roll.

I think that's a great idea. I'll incorporate both elements.

The main ministries covered will be:
Children Ministry
Student Ministry
Single Adults
Married Adults
Senior Adults

I'll also have smaller sections for music, media, etc.

You have the same idea as what we are doing, except it is a Video Welcome Pack. (it's not original) We are doing it a little bit like an infomercial. (Less the Cheesy Talent)
