Simple Live to DVD Method

Hey,

Does any know if the Sony DVDirect VRDMC10 will accept the live feed from a camera and record to DVD on the composite input ?

As a test I was able to take the camera's coax feed to a Pinnacle Dazzle device into my PC and capture the video and then burn, quality was not great but acceptable.

We are just looking for a simple solution to provide to shut-ins a DVD of sermons, so at this time not looking for menus, chapters, and extras, just a raw video of the sermon.

Or any other suggestions, I searched the forums but most people were looking for more elaborate systems.

Thanks for any input

Thx,
Steve

Welcome aboard Steve.
According to what I read quickly at Sony, yes, as well as SVideo and iLink (FireWire).

Thanks for the reply, I ordered the Sony and it indeeds works. Just ran the coax line from the live camera feed to the composite input jack and press record and we get the live camera to the DVD, simple solution.
