Makings Clouds "Unfurl"

Hi... i've been asked to help out with a video project @ church that entails a scene with clouds unfurling (clouds parting/opening up) to reveal a dramatic entrance of Christ. Thing is I have absolutely NO CLUE of how to make the clouds open up/unfurl. I don't have access to any respectable NLE per se...
Is there a way I can make this happen with something as simple as Windows Movie Maker... or does something like this already exist and is available around here???

Wow - That's a terribly difficult trick, even with After Effects. Not for beginners. You might could pull something off using some footage from Digital Juice:

Thank you... I've been forced to scale back the whole cloud thing as it's a tad bit unrealistic of a request for me at this time.
