picture turning to dust

I want to take some pictures and have them turn to sand and be blown away. I would be content with them just blowing away also.

I have found a couple AF tutorials but not being a AF user they are somewhat out of my league. Is it time for me to learn AF or is their a easier way to do this?

Sorry this is late. I could do that effect for you pretty easily. I found a tutorial on creative cow that looks like what you want. Let me know if you are still wanting it done.
