Panasonic WJ-MX10 $48

I recently won an auction for a Panasonic WJ-MX10 we plan on using to add a 2nd camera to our (very basic) video recording setup.
There is another one listed from the same seller that will likely go pretty cheap if anyone else is interested. They look rather old, but they come with a 30 day warranty. Looks like original MSRP was around $2,000.00
How old are these things? They look ancient...

Just wanted to get some opinions on this mixer from anyone who has ever used one. Looks like it would work for what we need (just mix 2 composite camcorders, and output to DVD and possibly a live video feed into easy worship at times). We would like to have the ability to add more cameras later, but this deal seemed to be too good to pass up.

I cant find any videos demonstrating the quality we should expect from it (not going to expect much though).
I've found a video of a WJ-MX12 in action on youtube, and it looks good enough for our needs. Does anyone know if the quality is about the same?

I'm thinking we should be able to utilize 2 cameras with this to setup different shots with different angles and mix back and forth between them, this way we are not moving a camera around much while its live.

Does anyone have any experience with this unit?

I think I used an MX-20. As I recall (from like 10 years ago). These were good little switchers, but didn't have a true preview. Switching was a/b bus. That means that an LED would tell you what was on and you'd move your hand to the other bus to select the next shot before hitting the transition button. That always bugged me.

Quality was good for an SD switcher (if I remember correctly).
