DataVideo SE1000 vs. BroadcastPix Slate 100HD

Has anyone used both of these switchers (or either one for a while)? My church is currently in process of evaluating both these products and, of course, we want to choose the best one. I've used the BPS1000 for one test service and found it quite easy to use. Wasn't given headsets to test, the loaner remote control cam wasn't working as expected, and the tape recorder didn't record (forgot to push play AND record at same time), but the test unit itself worked beautifully. I can totally see using the 100 version on a weekly basis (possibly with a touch-screen monitor to control the virtual switcher board - vs. spending an add'l $8-10K for the physical switcher).

We have a demo weekend coming up in January with the DVSE1000Kit. I see that CG is extra (plus a computer to run it) and am wondering if it really compares to the BPS100. I wouldn't be considering it normally because I observed/helped on the BPS1000 at a sister church in California (with headsets and multi-cameras) and found it very easy to learn and very user friendly. The main reason to even test the DVSE1000kit is because someone who advises my pastor favors the DVSE (even though he hasn't personally used either one) based on reading up on them on the internet.

Our local supplier is pushing the BPS and is very cold on the DVSE. Not sure if I can trust their advice since after a month of requesting, they failed to arrange a DVSE demo unit, and I had to simply call the mfr directly (1 phone call to reach the person responsible for booking demo units) to verify a demo was available immediately. (Does my supplier make a lot more $ on the BPS system and that's why he's advising me to go that way?)

We're wanting to produce a DVD directly after service (probably output to a MacPro), edit further into a 1/2 hour tv show (victorytv.ca), be able to feed video to the projector and also to stream live on the internet. Any advice on either unit, or from anyone who's used both would be very much appreciated.

Thanks and God Bless!
