Thanks for the input. I'll have to do some looking into that.

After all my SDI rants, we finally ended up switching to a non-SDI video distribution solution.

We pulled component HD from our switcher and audio from our Tascam X-48 into a ZvPro 280 HD encoder/RF modulator (transmitting on channel 2.1). From there we ran cheap RG-6 through cheap cable splitters to all our nursery HDTVs. Though I can see the compression artifacts on the nursery HDTVs, the HD picture quality is perfectly acceptable.

HELP! The Church here is using a JVC GY-DV500 for recording services. I am needing to run that same live feed to multiple rooms of the church. What device(s) do I need to run from the camera to those rooms? We used to use a lesser camera that ran into a DVR, that ran into an RF Modulator, that ran coax cable to the other rooms. However, the camera seems to have no support for any of the connections on the (older) RF Modulator and/or coax. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks for any help.

There's a "Monitor Out" connector on the right side of the camera, at the bottom toward the back. You'll just need a BNC-to-RCA adapter and it will hook up the DVR the same way as your previous camera.
