HD over RF or Cat6?

From the looks of most of these devices that extend HD, be it HDMI or component, the edge looks like it is 720p over a single cat5 or 6 cable. Other Gefen extenders require two cat6 cables to get the data and audio across.

I agree though that one would want to really put this device through it paces. It fits what we are looking at even for the future since it takes 1080 and scales it down to 720p.
