Christian vs. Church Goer (a Mac vs. PC parody)

Made this video last week to promote a sermon series I'm doing on evangelism. I'll be making a video per week to illustrate different topics. I realize that neither the audio nor video are very high quality, but what do you think?

Also, if you have a use for it in your church, feel free to use it.

I love it! The "Churchgoer" character is really good with his mannerisms and reminds me a lot of the "PC" guy on the commercials. But the "Christian" guy looks a little unsure and unprepared unlike the "MAC" guy on the commercials who comes across as very confident.

I think I'd work on the audio (call in your sound guy for that), but other than that, it was fun.

Good stuff. Seems like there was another church that did a series of these a while ago. They had more of a biting edge to them.

And Paul's right. 1/2 of good video is good audio.

LOL, I am the sound guy. My church isn't very tech savvy, so if I want to do something like this, it's up to me.

I really need to figure out a better way to get audio. Relying on the camera's mic just isn't cutting it. I shot another video for today's sermon (I'll upload it tonight probably), and it's audio turned out even worse.

If the camera doesn't have an audio in (if it does, just use your audio magic to take an xlr and make it a mini), why not record audio to another device and use the on camera audio as reference? Then you can sync it up in your editing software and you're golden.

BTW, when buying a cam, the first feature to look for is always a mic input.
