Liberia mission video

Working on a doc for a church medical mission I took part in Nov-Dec of last year. Working on putting together a few sequences this month to show the church and to start fleshing out the planned larger project.

So everything I have is rough cut - no CC, no liberal application of smoothcam, no audio sweetening, no effects or graphics aside from some simple titling.

I'd love to hear some opinions as I move forward and develop this project.

Thanks

I liked them. One thought since it will be a series or sequences would be to "brand" the videos. I thought it would be kinda cool to use the opening shot of all the shells and then go to one that has been made into a cross/church and then make a cool graphic for the "transformed."

One thought about the interview with the lady in the middle. She says she is from a town and then it takes here a while to say how far it is. It might be better to use the first part where she says the town and then cut to where she says that it took here 1 1/2 days to walk there. I would place a nice street shot of people walking on a long road if available to cover the cut and part of the interview.

Overall though it looked good. I was wondering what you shot it with?

ultimate goal is to put them together into a full-length doc.

90% of it was shot with a Canon HV30 (sometimes with a WA adapter), small candid bits with a Sony DVD103 handycam.

Thanks a ton for the thoughts and recommendations.
