| documentary intro I just finished a rough edit on my documentary intro, "Caught in the Crossfire" I would like to have input from others. Below is the link to the video. http://www.churchmedia.net/MXC/showg...00&ppuser=6989 |

| I just tried to watch it, and the website invited me to become a ProMember. Seeing as I already am Pro, and also Biz, I'm not sure what the problem is. Needless to say, I can't watch the video clip.

As an experiment, would you mind paying to upgrade to "Biz Member" and see if you are rejected? ![]() I have started a thread about this problem in the Pro forum. I apologize for the apparent hi-jack of this thread!

| I was just able to watch the video (and now I have to figure out how to get Dan and Phil to pay me commissions for recruiting more Biz members!). My first impressions: The fast snips at the beginning of historical footage generated a feeling of discomfort, which I'm assuming was your objective for the viewer experience. The cut to the baptismal footage started good, but I felt like you stayed with the zoom into the angel too long. I think it would be more interesting to move onto some footage of another church sacrament (perhaps a wedding or communion) to further illustrate our traditions and to keep it visually interesting. The first preacher waving his hands felt good and in tune with the message (wish they had framed him in a better looking setting). The second preacher rocking in the chair did not do much for me in relation to the narrative (I hope that's not the introduction of the main character and I've just slammed your pastor!). The setting in a messy office was not a pretty shot, and the rocking motion was annoying. The pace and content of the narrative was comfortable for me and was informative enough to make me want to watch more. Overall, a good opening pitch. Just my opinions.
