| Testing Video Playback I've been experimenting with some online video posting sites and encoding video for the web. Plus I'm excited to have just finished this, my first, After Effects project. This looks like a high-class site (blip.tv), I'd like to know if anyone has trouble with playback or accessing through any browsers. . . and welcome any "constructive" video critique. http://wordpicturesmedia.blip.tv/#963634

| No problems viewing it in Firefox 2.0.0.14 with Flashblock (i.e., so I had to click to play the video; some video sites like CNN don't like that.) I like the feel of the video, but I feel like it's missing some info. Where do I go if I have questions? I googled for the website (http://thenitelife.org/) but that only tells me when and where. Nothing in the video or the website told me more of what to expect. |

| I wasn't referring to your video website, but to the NiteLife web site. The point was that video didn't list any source of answers for questions. (The secondary point was that the NiteLife website doesn't do a very good job answering the questions; or that it does an OK job of it if you look around enough.) |

| Yeah, that was awkward when editing. The questions are addressed in panel discussions during the service - but the schedule had flexed (so no panel) every time I had my camera along. It seems like the interview discussion on that topic rambled, so I cut it altogether. But maybe I can splice an audio snippet to give a sense of closure to what happens with the text messaged questions. Thanks for pointing that out, I'll take another listen to that audio master. | Blip just puts YouTube to shame on quality! Also have video on YouTube for higher "passive" traffic - but it just looks awful in comparison. There isn't much compression required for Blip. Upload a QuickTime file with settings below - the Flash conversion is automated by Blip. You can also choose playback in either Flash or QuickTime on the Blip site. • First, run a deinterlace filter on the completed project • Then apply these QuickTime conversion settings in Final Cut: Compression: H.264 Quality: High Frame Rate: 30 Key Frame Rate: 5 Bitrate: 1500 kbits/sec Encoding: Multi-pass Dimensions: 640x480 Audio Format: AAC Sample Rate: 48 kHz Channels: Mono Bit Rate: 128 kbps Check "FastStart" for Internet Streaming
