Need advice on camera and video equip Our small church would like to show the service in the nursery. We would like a wall mount camera (approx 60 ft from stage) that is remote controlled for panning, zooming, etc. It would be great if the camera had HDMI output which we could cable direct to TV in the nursery and also output to a monitor/pc in sound booth where it would be controlled from and/or possibly recorded. Is this something that can be done for under $4k (not including TV, PC and monitor)? Sorry if this is a dumb idea, I know nothing about video production.

I actually am putting in cameras in a local church now that are pan/tilt. I put in the 1080p version of this Sony HD3V. You can control it with IR or Serial. I'm using a joystick kinda like this: Sony CPITVD300. HDMI doesn't travel very far, so I'd recommend hd-sdi and using a converter to turn it into hdmi. Add one of these: AJA HD-SDI/SDI to HDMI and you're good for about $4000. Paul

Is the camera you are suggesting the Sony HD7V? Best price I can find for it is $3395 plus $995 for the controller puts me over our $4k budget. Please advise if I have the wrong camera model of if you know where I can get better pricing. Thanks
