| How do I do this? Hey Guys, I'm relatively new to all of this and wanted to get your help. We have left & right projectors that always show the same image fed from power point on an iMac-->VGA splitter. We also have a rear TV screen for lyrics/time being fed by another computer. There is also a wire run from the stage to the booth in case a speaker wants to use their own laptop. Now, we want to switch to Propresenter and use the multiscreen support to use one computer for the projectors and lyrics/time. I understand we would have to use the Matrox Dualhead2Go box. But we also want to be able to have the option to have the stage input displayed on the projectors & still have the time monitor from the computer. I was initially thinking: iMac & stage input into 2 input switcher: (input one - iMac, input two - stage) into Matrox DualHead2Go (if clone mode is possible when stage input is on) But what if I wanted to have the stage input on the projectors while the Time monitor is still on? I don't know much about VGA matrixs but is that what I would need? How would it come together? Thanks! |

| I would recommend a 4x4 VGA matrix. Input 1: Matrox DH2GO 1 Input 2: Matrox DH2GO 2 Input 3: Stage Output 1: Projector left Output 2: Projector right Output 3: Rear screen That will give you total flexibilty, and a spare input/output on the matrix for future expansion. The projectors and screen will loose sync signal when changing between the matrix inputs, so you will see short glitches i the picture. |
