HDMI inut to VGA output?

Quick question:
When a switcher scaler, such as the Kramer VP-730, has a HDMI input and a VGA output, does HDCP interfere with the VGA output?

In other words, can the Kramer VP-730 display a HDCP protected HDMI source on the VGA output?

No. According to Kramer, it only passes HDCP protected content to the HDMI output. I was just looking at these today...
