Amazing Race To the Cross

I thought I'd share whare our church is doing for our Lenten series. Our pastor had the idea to highlight important stories from Jesus' ministry culminating with His death and resurrection. The "hook" is to get teams together to guess the story from clues placed in the community during the week, and to earn points from serving in outside ministries and other activities. We are encouraging folks to wear their church t-shirts so folks might ask questions.

I'm not big on the earning points thing, although it's like "Whose Line is it Anyway" since the points don't matter!

I used Starkiller's Amazing Race images and duplicated the text style in Elements for the buzz posters we placed around the area before the event started and for postcards we mailed to new arrivals to our local community. We also created a video teaser of folks running around leading to a cross.

Here are a few of the graphics created. I expect I'll try to incorporate the theme in the graphics for each sermom, although that may be a challenge.
