Sunday School class - visual aid / audio aid teaching resources?

Hi all,
This is my first post. My wife and I recently began teaching a class on Sunday mornings. It's a LifeWay curriculum that we follow, but we'd like to use other outside resources as much as possible to keep things fresh and interesting. So I'm looking for a place on the Net that I can go to look for "three-dimensional" teaching aids in general. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Let me give a specific example. This week we're talking about being equipped for godliness, and one of the focal passages is from 1 Timothy where Paul tells Timothy to stir up the gift of God within him. I'd like to do a little science experiment where I drop something in a glass of liquid, and it just sits on the bottom until I stir it, at which point it either changes the color of the liquid or starts some kind of chemical bubbling reaction or something. I thought about food coloring tablets, but I think those start to dissolve immediately. I need something that will just sit on the bottom of the glass until I stir.

Anyway, that's the kind of thing I'm looking for in order to help with my class this week and in the future. If you know of any sites that provide these ideas, please let me know. Thanks! Oh, and my e-mail is if you want to send me the info directly.

Thanks. I checked it out, but all I can find at those links are backgrounds, movies, and such. I need an "idea" site, preferably one with a search function. There was one site called PreachingToday that had something like that, but it requires a monthly membership of 9.95. If I could find something similar without the cost, that would be ideal. Thanks for your help.

Maybe try some thing like a "Girl Scout" site they do crafts activities or try learning center or the local library maybe able to get in the right direction. I always like the way water changes to steam or ice but still water.

I have nothing to do with the site, but I have found a few good ideas for teaching at eBibleteacher.com. I've never looked for a "science" type of illustration, but maybe they can help you. Also, when all else fails, Google it!
