| Looking for some ideas Hi guys, I'm looking for some ideas on how to light up our stage area. We rent a university lecture theatre but want to get away from using the in-house flouresent lights and get the stage area front lit. Next stage will be to look at other lighting for effect on stage. The area of the stage we use is 12m wide x 4.5m deep and these are the things we have to consider - We cant hang anything above the stage as it will affect a projector - No 3 Phase currently, but plenty of 240v 10amp circuits available - Have to bump in and out every week so the less fixtures the better - We can place trees in the seating on the sides of the venue (total width of the building is 15m). There is also a landing about 15m up the seating which could be used but would require the lights to be quite high up to get a proper angle to the stage without peoples heads and hands getting in the way. - We want to be able to video the service and project onto the wall above the black curtain Photos of venue as we use it and as a lecture theatre (sorry about the quality) Thanks in advance for your ideas |

| def look into source 4 fixtures or any type of ellipsoidal that has paddles so you can direct the light away from where your screen will be but also be able to hit the stage with the amount of light you are going for. see if you have any lighting companies around you, so you can demo some lights and see what will work best for your room. |
