Streaming Services

I want to start live-streaming our services on Ustream or Stickam. I want to use the feed from our switcher (composite out). I would love to here recommendations on doing this.

What formats will those services handle? Will VideoLAN Client work?

You'll need a computer with a video capture card and a decent sound card. You'll then need a program to stream it to the server in real time. You'll also, of course, need an Intranet and Internet connection with an upload rate capable of sustaining real time transfer of the video.

Just a thought to bear in mind... If you plan on broadcasting your entire service, namely the praise and worship portion, your CCLI license that allows you to use the songs in church may not allow such broadcast. Not an expert, but I'm sure someone can chime in that knows more about licensing. I always try to do things as legally and correctly as possible.

We have a large thru-put and will have no problem with band width.
We have the computer and It would be easily done with a web cam.
I would like to feed it our live feed that goes up on the screens.
We will only be sending the speaking portion of the service.
