The End of Slideshows?

I just came across this very cool slide show program. I think they still need to get some other output options (they are working on it), but this could be very useful. Currently the most useful output option is embedded (like this). It's free if you want to make 30 second clips (like this one I made) or $3 for a full length one ($30/year unlimited). It's still in beta, but looks so promising.

These are some baby book pictures I had laying around from a regular slide show I did at my daughter Sarah's wedding last month. Just some random podsafe music (from the Animoto site). This required virtually no technical knowledge and aside from choosing pictures and music - no effort.

Here is a link to a Photojojo article about Animoto and a link to the free registration page (with one free full length credit).

I really like the Photojojo slide show.

PhotoJojo is a very neat Photo Enthusiast site/newsletter. Lots of great ideas and tips. Generally, once a week they put out something new or fun.

Spe-cial

neat, cool idea would love to be able to use a clip for a announcement opener for church. Kinda like a snipit of who we are and what we do at our church...... but I don't think it is setup to take off the web....is it ???

That is pretty cool.

I discovered another photo slideshow maker during my travels on the net recently that is pretty cool as well. Has several different output formats including for ipods, Zunes, . It's called Photo Story by Wondershare. Makes some pretty cool shows, especially for web. Has a try before you buy as well.

That program is awesome. Thanks for the link. Here is one I made with pictures from our concert last month...

I have a feeling I will end up buying the full featured membership. I saw the icon for dumping the project to dvd/cd in the future. It will be cool if we can splice this stuff into regular video...

I like what it creates, but I wish it had a home version so I didn't have to upload my photos!

I think it's great! I too think a downloadable version would be perfect. Ideal for those last minute church ministry photos you get Sunday morning!
