As some of you know, I've been trying to get "Church Media Day" off the ground for a few years now. It's in no way affiliated with churchmedia.net or any other project. It's just something that God has laid on my heart personally and I would love to see happen. The details are attached in the pdf in this post. Print it out then put it in the office boxes of your church leadership. It's not to toot your own horn, but you're the only people who can get the information to them in time. churchmediaday-flyer2.pdf Thank you for your help and special thanks to cmchamp for helping with the flyer design. A lot of my attachments from past posts have gone missing, so just in case, you can also download the flyer here: http://churchmediaday.com/churchmediaday-flyer2.pdf More information on Church Media Day will be updated at www.ChurchMediaDay.com. Be blessed and I hope your church participates! -Tim Eason

There's a big long thread about it here somewhere. We (this community) chose the last Sunday in September because there isn't anything else really going on then. It's right after back-to-school and before Fall stuff kicks in. There's also "Socks-Off-September", which has its own story, and it seemed like a good finish to that --- which maybe I'll reinstate next year. But, yeah, it's the 27th this year -- not the 29th (except for Joel, in which case it's the 26th). This community also helped choose the name of the day, although I've always made it clear that this is my personal pet project.

Church Media Day is Sunday! Just take a few minutes to thank the people that help out with sound, video and lighting. And if you're worried that this might set a trend and you'll have to start thanking other people that help out at church... then that's a GOOD thing! Do it! No, they don't do it for the thanks, but thank them anyway. It's Biblical! It certainly won't make them feel bad, so be an encourager! ![]() Be sure to post pics, vids and stories back here or wherever you like. Next year you'll be able to do it right at churchmediaday.com, which will be better because CM Day isn't related to any company or organization. Can't do it this Sunday? No problem! Do it next Sunday! Have a great Church Media Day!
