Wow. That is helpful info. Is that right on the SSP website?

Occasionally it doesn't split off a bridge or something, but that's easy to take care of in the SP editor (it's usually at the end of the file, so just put in one page break, and it's done).
All this in notepad, before bringing over to SP:

1. I move the author(s) name(s) just under the title. This puts it in the correct place for SP to read it and put it in the TAC tools area.

2. I re-arrange the text in the same order as I plan to show it, ie: how it's written in the song book; v1, c, v2, c, etc.

3. If there are pre-chorus, bridges, endings, or whatever, I re-name these paragraphs to something that SP recognizes, like chorus 2, 3, etc. This splits the pages where they should be, and then I just change the title of the cell when it's in SP.

There's probably some other tweaking I do from time to time, but I think this covers most of it.

i think the difference in what we are talking about is the fact that some people set up slide to be shown in a linear fashion, and some people jump around during the song..

if you dont set it up to be operated by the space bar, there is less tweaking to do.

One thing I liked about media shout was the ability to import a song select file, but quickly format it into space bar operation simply by dragging the verses and chorus into the order you want... very cool

In SSP, we just import it directly from the CCLI site into SSP. All song parts are recognized.

Sometimes we may have to break lines or put page breaks in.

And we can put the default verse order in, if we wish.
