I noticed in another thread that danroth talked about the upgrades in Songshow plus ( Just released February update), Media Shout (Just released verson 4) and Easy Worship (major revision on the way) No mention of Sunday Plus, I guess they don't count anymore. As of this Thursday March 19 the Sunday Plus forum for general discussion was shut down and a year later not a word has been heard from Sunday Plus. It's too bad for those of us who paid $100 to $150 for an upgrade we will probably never see. Maybe that is why hey don't count anymore.

Today marks one year that Sunday Plus shut down its general forum because of the negative comments about its inablility to get out an upgrade that they had promised for almost 2 years and many people and churches have paid for. Today the company does not sem to exist, its main employees all now seem to work for Freepath which seems to have no interest in developing Sunday Plus. We keep hearing how many people are still switching to Sunday Plus from other worship software but I do not know of any church of any size that uses the software here
in Birmingham any more. Happy sad anniversary to the hardy few who still use Sunday Plus.

Hey! We stilll use it. That makes 6! If what you have said is true, it is not a surprise. We have been thinking of going to a different software package, but have not taken the plunge yet.

I guess one of the things about SP is that I know how to make it dance on the fly without thinking about it, like what I had to do this morning when we had a change from what the MoM had sent me in the email order of worship. It was a couple of cut and paste and clicks and I was there.

In MS or EW it might just as easy or even easier, but right now I would have to either think about it or read the manual, which I have yet to do with SP.

We are planning on using Screen Monkey for the VBS, see how MS 4 bugs out, what EW comes out with and if GRS does come out with SP3 and make a decision, I guess. SP 3 would for a lot of reasons would be the preferred, but who knows.

Looks like this is what we will attempt as well. Not too turned on with FP's "extortion tactics", even if it's only $50

UGH! I had a moment of weakness and bought Freepath with the beta user discount. Haven't played with it much but it doesn't look like it has DVD support which is what I was hoping for. Guess I should have read the features before I bought!

No it does not. Big reason why we did not even consider it, even though technically we paid for it with the SP support program.
