My new S+ editor

After suggesting this many months ago, I eventually had the time to sit down and do it.

What you see is about 3 days work so far. What you get is editing over a static image, with full SundayPlus (.ptf file) compatibility

I've still got to is figure out the movie background, but that's not a high priority for me, so it may be done last.

Some todo items: Drag and Drop reordering of slides, shadowing, working up a test page for S+, solving quirks (for some reason apostrophes and copyright symbols show up as ^'s - this seems to be a s+ issue, as openoffice, and wordpad also have this issue.)

Does anyone have any suggestions of things that you would like to see?

This looks interesting. How would we incorporate it into SP?

Looks awesome. I've been hoping something like this would come out in the next update...

I can't wait to see integration with motion backgrounds. That's the main reason we switched to SP is because of that ability. But anyway, looks awesome. Thanks!

It's an alternative to the old editor. I've not yet played around with making it a drop-in replacement to the current editor, but that should be easy enough to do.

Currently it is aimed at making layouts and editing easier.

Do you have it available for download somewhere?

I am hoping for something like this too in the next version, but I got tired of waiting.

Not yet, it's still changing rapidly from day to day. I'm aiming to get a release out by next week so that I can see where people have issues and what I need to do better.

I'll let people know when it's available.

Alright thanks. If you need anyone to help out with testing and such let me know.

Also, what would be the chances of including some way to edit the font throughout an entire file? For instance, have the ability to change the font size and color on an entire-file basis rather than changing each slide individually.

Experiment with things such as Char(13).
I was down this road a few months ago.

It amazes me how many programmers there are on CMN.

Thats a good and useful idea! I just implemented that - I added a select all slides to the select menu and once you're in that mode you can make changes to all the slides at once.
