Any more progress on the new editor?

Shadowing is about 90% complete
I'm also working on importing from SongSelect both as .txt and .usr

Once these are done, I'll tidy it up and get a build out.

Wow you are fantastic. Looking forward to it.
I am open for testing as I am off work due to having my wrist broken in a car accident.

I have been frustrated a bit with the old editor as well, and would like to get the next version you release.

With this new editor (and even with the old), will there be away to "outline" the characters so that they stand out better regardless of the background image? I really like the way iWorship DVD's outline the text so that regardless of what the background looks like, the text is usually readable. I have had many issues trying to get text to display across a varying colored background and be readible.

Hello!

I love to see that there is an alternative to the SP text editor. Thank you very much for your hard work on this! One request, though... Would it be possible to compile it using something other than .NET 3.5?

The reason is this: I use Linux at home (hate using Windows, can't afford a Mac). SundayPlus mostly runs on Linux and MacOS X (also, I assume) using Wine (a Windows-compatible API for Unix). The only part that doesn't work well is the editors. Your program might solve this problem, except that .NET doesn't work, either, as it has been specifically designed by Microsoft to prevent programs like Wine from working with current software (so the Wine programmers' stories go).

If a version of your program could be made to work on Wine, it might allow MacOS X and Linux users to run SundayPlus on their machines as well.

Thanks!

I'm not the developer of this app, but, that would require a entire rewrite of the program.

Something I would not take too nicely too.

I'm sure you could find a way of making it run in Wine, I've made my lyrices software run in it before, and I'm using .Net 3.5

This is starting to get a little off-topic, I suppose, but how did you get your software to run in Wine? Was there any specific libraries you had to load in, or did it just install?

Saturday Plus Plus does not even install in Wine, as the installer stops and says that it requires .Net 3.5, but no one that I've heard of has ever been able to get .Net 3.5 to run in Wine. Maybe a better route might be to find a way to get SundayPlus's editor to actually work in Wine.
