Tim

You are a hard taskmaster and one day you will understand of what Carl and I speak. But for now back to SP/Freepath since SP is dependent on Freepath for the next upgrade and someone asked me about it off the air.
It like SP is a good program. There are very few formats that it will not play and it handles Powerpoint very well. The draw backs is that it also has had no upgrade in a while, not Vista compatible, no DVD playback, no text over motion backgrounds, no text editor of its own and it was intended for the business world in its original form not the church world. It is a very good program and if they can get it by the Vista bugaboo it could be a really good program and the next version will be free, You can check it out at www.freepath.com,

I hope that it will be the killer app that they are trying to produce.

SP and FreePath

Funny all the closed doors on the SP Website and then this announcement of FreePath 2.0 closing in?
I guess we will be seeing SP3.0 in the future.
Any thoughts?

My guess also is that it will be a while because from what was said by Grass Roots most of the new things we want have not even been integrated into the Freepath platform and probably can't till Freeapth 2 is a stable and viable program which from Lou's blog hopefullywill be soon. At least when Freepath is released we will get a glimpse of SP3.

From the Freepath blogs, it is interesting that you see a lot of things in the library function that are very useful and have been used in the church media environment.

See blog here http://www.freepath.com/publishing/x...rss.php?blog=5.

This is what was posted over at the SundayPlus site by Lou Douros today (March 27)

There have been some areas of progress made. Not enough to ship SundayPlus 3.0 today... but wait...We have an opportunity to earn forward the cash needed to move SundayPlus to completion...

When you read in 07 that Freepath was formed to a new company, the GRS board preserved the rights to the new code for sale, exclusively into the house of worship market. That's how we will complete SundayPlus 3.0. That code is now complete and tested...efforts are underway to release a new product in a matter of weeks for ministries other than those that require a sanctuary and media team. ...on Monday at 4pm Pacific Time I'll have more news. I'll try to be responsive to your remarks in here between now and then.
