Visualizations in SP-sort of

I've been trying to use visualizations in SundayPlus for some time now with no luck but I've finally managed to do sort of a lower-thirds type thing with winamp and SP (probably would work for any worship software). This may be old news for some but you basically just resize your visualization window to fill about 2/3 of the screen and then drag your SP screen to the bottom third. I may possibly try it Sunday with the praise songs, I'll let you know how it goes.

I have been trying to find a software that will do this for years. I want to have like the random vizualizations behind the text of our worship songs. I also wanted it to be live - meaning I would put an audio signal into the laptop and the visualization would move with our live music - got anything for that??
Thanks

Yes, it's called G-Force.

I got a 5,000 person license (you pay per viewer) for $80au from memory.

LeAnn, my only issue with something like that is it seems like you couldn't go from lower third to full screen quite as seamlessly as would be ideal. Not to mention it does take some time to go to preferences, find the setting, change it, etc.

It's not seemless but it's not that hard. You just have to drag the SP screen up or down. When I did this I drug it down to the lower third and when I wanted to go full screen I blacked out the projector screen with the switcher while I drug the SP window back up. Not optimal I know but I haven't found any other way to do it without a video mixer. There are some work arounds with winamp but none of them have worked for me. I have also tried G-force with no luck.

I hadn't thought of blacking it at the switcher level... but you're right, I guess that would work. Or if you did it at a point where you could use a generic image (logo, etc.), then I suppose you could have a CD/DVD with images on it and switch to that while resizing the projection window.

The slide show builder within Song Show Plus V7 can do this. The slide show builder is like power point but much more powerful and seamless. THe audio can be timed. You can have different entrance and exit animations. You can have different motions, images or visualizations coming though each text box with a background image or video (multiple layers). The text boxes can be moved to anywhere on the slide and resized.

This also works great if you need to display multiple languages of a song or scripture side by side to display.

Actually, they're talking about visualizations that will react to the music as it is played.
