| Can you run both SSP and Media Shout on the same computer? We keep getting the blue screen of death when we run SSP. Somewhere I read that SSP won't work with two presentation softwares installed on the same computer. Not sure if this is what is causing the problem, but we've completed a lot of other diagnostics and can't seem to find anything else. When Media Shout is run it doesn't have any problems. We don't want to really use Media Shout and prefer SSP, but with this many problems every week we are considering almost anything at this point. Also, does SSP run better on a Mac or PC? |

| Have you looked at windows error reporting logs to see what is causing the BSD? Sometimes the logs can be a big help to isolate what is causing it. I have seen it caused by hardware that isn't supposed to be affected by the particular software, but something triggered the hardware driver to cause the crash. Then again the error logs can be very vauge with what causes the BSD. I would see if it is SSP, and if so contact support to see if they can work though the problem with you. |

| SSP is not officially supported on a Mac, although some have reported sucess with VM or Parallels. I would call SSP support or post in the SSPlash forums. The forums are users forums, but some of the techs browse through. If you call and they can't fix the problem, insist that they escalate it.

| I started breaking down the error message from the BSD and researching it online...said it was a driver...replaced the driver and then BSD started happening more frequently 11 times in less than 1/2 an hour...have another file to research to see if we can fix that file. I have called SSP and the person I spoke with said he had no idea and to hire a computer tech person to fix our computer--he wasn't much help. We took the video card out to see if it could run from the internal video and the computer crashed again. Ran a malware detection program to see if that's what it was...came up with 0. Ran an update on Norton...nothing came up. Ran dxdiag...first time it crashed...since then it comes up with everything as normal, but still receiving the BSD with the same error message. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ![]() |

| With DXDIAG crashing, I would say taht it's gotta be a video driver. I would make sure the driver is uninstalled and try it again with the on board video. Then reinstall the video card and driver. I just upgraded to the latest nVidia driver on my SSP machine and it cleared up a lot of issues. If you can do it, I'd reinstall the OS and start from scratch.

| I would definetly try the uninstall and reinstall of the video card. Make sure you got the the latest video driver when reinstalling. Also check to see if it is a recommended video card. If still having problems call ssp and have it escelated. |
