| Wow. This thread sure seems to have taken a SSP-bashing/SSP-doesn't-care-enough-to-add-my-feature tone. There are plenty of worship software choices out there. SSP seems to be a good one, and ProPresenter seems to be good as well. If SSP is so horrible for your church's use, switch to Mac and use ProPresenter. But, before you switch, keep in mind that ProPresenter (and every other software for every other use) will never have every feature that you want. Just because you and a few others want something, it may not be a feature that the developers are willing to add (for a variety of reasons) at this point. I'm sorry to sound harsh, but it seems that too many of us think only in terms of what serves our personal point of view. For a group of servants, we sure have a "me" attitude.

| I can't think of a feature that ProPresenter doesn't have. That is why I use it. Mike

I can see how someone not familiar with the Adobe products or that do not need the full features of these programs might like some of those additions in SSP. I (and the vast majority of my clients) simply do our development and deployment separate, so there are no features that I want missing in PP. Sorry if there was some confusion. Although I only specify PP on my projects, I know many people that use other software and love it. My comment was specifically to the OP that PP would handle his needs. My intent was never to "bash" SSP or any other software, but rather to point out the features of PP and how they fit the OP needs. Mike

| Hey... Its been quite some time since this thread.... SSP has worked with our IT department A LOT and added quite a bit of features to make a high maintenance guy like me pretty happy. At some point I will post some pictures from Easter when we used the newest version of song show to run 6 projectors via a pair of Matrox Triple heads... pretty cool and didnt cost us a lot of money to make happen.

Great news Mr. Tucker. We would love to see the photos and I am glad you enjoyed a blessed Easter Service. . I expect you used the primary and secondary presentation feature in SSP with 2 Matrox Triple Heads. Did you use the Digital or Analog Matrox Triple Head? God Bless.

| Our IT guy sent you guys an email pdf with some photos and a few feedback notes. Used the Primary and Secondary display and two Analog Matrox triple heads. Takes a bit of programming but it looks great. We've been using the SSP remote for a while now to switch backgrounds, color improv, and the secondary display from the booth. If we are using the same background loop on top and bottom, I will use the "flip" feature to make the background look a little different on the 2 displays.

| Why not just use the mask feature in the software?

| You have to create a mask in the shape(s) you want in order to use the mask feature in SSP.

| Ahhhhh... In PP you just create the mask in the mask layer of the program.
