My Story

Well I have been in the media ministry since I was about 12 years old. It started with me running sound in childrens church and I still run sound from time to time. Then I started messing around with the presenter at the church for fun one day. My church saw somthing in me and said that I would do really well in it so I thought I would try. I worked my way up to doing running media at a church of 1200 at the age of 15 and did that for a few years. I then was called to another church and after a couple of years running the a/v for the childrens church, went to a performing arts camp and learned about lighting. I came back where at the age of 20 I have designed there entire lighting system for sunday service and for the youth group. I have found that I love lighting so much that the system for the youth is my personal system.


My goal is now to have other youth that look at what I'm doing and be like that looks like so much fun, where else can I do that and not only that I can do it for God

I have been doing church marketing and media development for a professional company for around 5 years. I also volunteer in communications and youth. I have a non-profit for women who want to get out of the sex industry here in Austin. I use all forms of media and technology to reach them. For that reason I joined this group! J

One question. What do you do in your spare time.

Play in the yard with my 6 year old! I do no ministry work of marketing on the weekends that's family and friends time!

I grew up in the tech ministry at large churches because my father was a church volunteer sound mixer for live events and broadcast television. I later decided to make a pro career out of sound and became educated, certified and experienced in the secular market before returning to a church Technical Director position full-time.

I enjoy using my God-given skills and talents to help the church body worship Him in music, video, drama, and whatever else.
