Newly Hired Church Audio Engineer! Amazing things are happening at this church!

I found this site just getting lost around the internet and was very impressed by the size of the community so here I am Introducing myself.

My name is Brandon Conley,
I graduated Show Production through Full Sail with a small production background. I am 21 and new to Church Production.

I recently was hired to head up a Audio/Video Position as Pocono Community Church in PA. They are a fairly new church maybe a couple years old literally formed from a prayer meeting to the vast and amazing venue and location they have today. Its truly amazing how god can work when people listen to what he has to say.

I am working with a great team great volunteers and as far as gear we run a M7CL , a etc Ion lighting board. Video is in the works. But yea lot of cool things happening production wise were clearing off the monitors and going to all in ears and each artist will also have their own Aviom. Very cool things happening god is good and blessing this church more than anyone could possibly imagine, were the talk of the town right now! Im going to attach some pics so you can check out some of the awesome productions taking place. Feel Free to look up the church also its Pocono Community Church(PCC). Glad to be apart of the forums!

Welcome to the community! I like your stage setup and backdrop. It certainly sounds like you're having a ball!

My church is similar to yours -- new kids on the block, but growing like crazy. Though we just celebrated our 10th birthday, our growth explosion has occurred in the last 3 years. Even though we're running about 800 each Sunday, I still feel that we're the best kept secret in our region.

But all of that is about to change. Last week we set up our four new HD cameras in our sanctuary. Over the next few weeks we'll be training our camera operators and connecting all the equipment in our video studio. Our goal is to start broadcasting on local TV this fall.

Welcome to CMN Brandon, glad to have you here.

Feel free to ask anything here, just be ready to get alot of different opinions

If you need any pointers on the M7CL we have a few users in this community, including myself. Also make sure you are taking advantage of the firmware upgrades for the M7.

See you around the forums.

Sempi13, What isn't God doing right now. I know he is working wonders in my life and I get to now experience and see him touch pepoles lives 4 services a week. People falling on their knees coming to christ and that me and my team had some part in that it cant be anymore rewarding.

Petereit, you will have to let me know how it works out about the experience. It wont be long before we have a similar setup. My goal is to get clear coms up and running before then.

Gracetech, thanks for the welcome! I recently seen the m7cl new firmware updates just need to take the time this weekend and get it updated. I feel that we will be seeing more frequent updates also from now on. As far as pointers I actually found this site looking for I/O and software that works good with the M7CL for multi track recording to pro tools 8-16 tracks at the most maybe even sending it back into the board to help volunteers practice on the fly mixing.

Hi and Welcome!

I just played with the M7cl today, and it's a very compact board to use. Hope God will bless you and those who are in your team!

Fantastic look so far! God is good...all the time.

The screens RP and move back into the ceiling or are fixed?
The hanging vertical column in the corner, from Rose Brand?

petereit:
Love to hear more about your video system.
I am impressed with the Broadcastpix Slate 100 and hope
to upgrade our gear soon.

Beautiful photos. The church seems very big, with a large stage there. Our church use portable stage From Rack in the cases for performances . Convenient and save place for a small church. Happy things happening also !

Welcome, fellow Full Sailer! I graduated in 1998 from the Multimedia Program. That was back when the only programs they had were Audio, Film & Video, and Multimedia. They only occupied half of the big building on University Blvd. and owned the smaller building (Full Sail Live) to the left. I'll have to get back down there some time to check it out, but from NJ, it's a long drive. A lot of great people on here sharing their knowledge.

Peace!
Chris
