Projection screen Install ?

Hey guys, quick question.
we are installing a 161" 16:9 screen soon in a church
Wall that the screen is going on is Brick.

It has a Cross on the wall that protrudes out about 6-8 inches out.

The screen will be mounted above the cross and when in the down position
the cross will not be seen.

What hardware have you used to mount the electric sreen so that when
it is lowered into position it is not bumping into the cross or touching it in
any way.

I thought of mounting 2-3 2x8 lumber to the brick wall and then attaching the screen to the lumber.

Also consider some kind of L brackets but weight of screen is about 80lbs.

Ceiling is a A frame exposed wood ceiling.

Could you attach chains to the ceiling and hang it?

Probably not with an electric motor.
