| Yeah, a screen is ALWAYS better than no screen and a good screen is ALWAYS better than a cheap screen. Mike

| I agree. Someone came to our church to demo his product. We originally consulted him because we thought we needed brighter projectors. But rather than selling us the $5,000 projectors, he showed us that if we bought his screens, we wouldn't need them. It was a night and day difference between what we had and what he was selling us! Also consider that a lot of these older silver screen units were designed for the filmstrip and 16mm projectors and the overhead transparency projectors.

| You are absolutely correct about the difference a good screen makes. With short-throw all the more. I have two of the Sanyo short throws in use and they are wonderful projectors in specialized situations. On other condsideration with your old screen could have been the angle of the screen supports. With these Sanyos you have to be pretty precisely aligned and an old screen might lean back or forward enough to really trash the lighting and image coming out of the projector. |
